Jeffro,
Welcome and what a shock. While I can't speak specifically about anyone around you, your best general bet is to google "NCCN centers of excellence" and get to the one nearest you. Usually the major university hospital systems are a good place to start.
Near you, there is OSU in Columbus, or maybe there is a satellite of Cleveland Clinic in your area? (I'm trying to remember the map in my head). You'll hear from more guys soon, keep checking in. I'm personally not experienced with G9 treatment, but many guys here are, and many of them are living a full life years after diagnosis. So there is hope.
The common treatment for early G9, as I understand, is to hit it with HT-usually Lupron to knock out your testosterone first, then follow with taxotere. That combo should bring your PSA to near zero pretty quickly, and shrink the mets considerably. They may also want to do some local radiation. So, the thing you need is a TEAM of a medical oncologist and a radiation expert working together.
Hang in there, you've found us. Help is on the way.
