Radiation time of day... did you do it early or late?

Paxton, Blankets & Pillows?...The girls who treated me gave me a dish towel and told me to strip to my knees everyday. Wasn't hiding anything in my EBRT treatments.
There were always 1 or 2 behind me when I dropped my pants for some reason....I took it as a compliment:)

Another MD Anderson patient here, they took very good care of me during my SRT. I had the 'luxury' of being in our motorhome about five miles away in a nice RV park. Took the shuttle to Mays Clinic and then Uber back to the park.

There were some guys in my 'class' that had a long drive each day, I felt really sorry for them because after a few treatments I would get super tired and take an hour or two nap. Driving while that tired would not be a good situation.

As far as a schedule, I preferred mid-morning. After about five treatments I had the bladder volume thing worked out very well. Five cups of coffee about 0700 hours, then 20 oz of water soon after. Took another bottle of water with me and drank it about one hour before my appointment. More often than not my bladder volume was spot on or I had to pee out half a cup or so.

Some of the guys with me hated to drink water and they suffered for it - one guy was there for about two hours trying to fill his bladder.

My hubby like Paxton had SBRT and he chose to have them in the late afternoon. We were staying in NYC for this. We were free to do what we wish during the day and then had to do the enema 2 hrs prior to treatment. He did have to get there 1 hr prior to treatment time to drink a full glass of water to fill bladder. He then waited til called. My hubby's treatments were reasonably quick; I timed one and it was around 18 mins.
