Once you get comfortable that the reason fellow posters ask a lot of questions is to know how they can help, update your Healing Well profile to provide email address, area of country etc.
First thing for a G9 to do based somewhat on where you live is to identify a medical oncologist, or as some of us have done, ignore geography and go to who they feel is best.
For G9, a urologist is not normally the best equipped to manage your treatment, but should still be a member of your team along with a radiation oncologist and a cardiologist, the latter because you will likely be put on hormone therapy whose drugs are sometimes tough on your cardio metrics.
A bone scan and CT pelvic scan to see if the cancer has spread is also warranted.
Once the shock starts to wane, read this and its predecessor thread to know G9 alas is fairly common.
