Can you combine multiple low dose Viagra tablets for higher dosage?

As part of my post surgery rehab program, my urologist has prescribed 100 mg name brand Viagra tablets and told me to cut one in half and try 50 mg first then go to a full 100 mg tablet if that doesn't work. I went to get them this morning from the pharmacy and found that my copay is $386.00 for six tablets. The pharmacist told me to fill out a form on the Viagra website to get a 50% off coupon, print it out, and then come back which I intend to do after work tonight.

However, when I consulted with Dr. Lam well before surgery, he prescribed me 25 mg tablets of generic Viagra for daily use while on ADT. I had this prescription filled at Sam's Club where with an executive membership I paid $30 for 90, 25 mg tablets. Even if it ends up that I need the 100mg for success, I could make the equivalent of 22, 100mg doses for $30 if it is safe to combine the four 25 mg tablets. I will certainly confer with my doctor on this, but in the meantime, I'm curious if anyone knows if there is any reason why four 25mg tablets can't be taken instead of one 100 mg.

Bolo- no decency is right. Bad enough when I have to pick up the Viagra from the cute 20 year old female pharmacy tech and answer her question on whether I have taken this medication before, but then I need to ask her if she knows of any coupons available for it because it is so expensive! Thankfully, the male pharmacist then came over and told me about 50% off deal if I go to the website.

It's fine to combine them. On-demand (high dose) use may be superior for post RP. Daily low dose use may interfere with recovery of continence. You can use a pump daily to maintain blood flow.

I feel your pain on that one...me I just hold up my little finger and whistle the James Bond theme...with a wink...

My ero put me on 20 mg daily of Sildenafil after my cath was removed for blood flow. I also bought a Encore pump and use it for rehab daily and it really works to get the blood flowing. I pump and release about 5 or 6 times holding each pump a little longer each time. When the Doc stitched me up he said I had wood and one night in the hospital same thing, here 6 weeks later nothing. He did spare most nerves but willy is taking his time. Until then I may use the pump and if nothing comes back may try Trimix I have heard great things wityh that.
