Majority of you may remember my situation. I used to be krammer49 but regardlesss of what I did my signature would never show so I put that account in file 13. Hopefully it will show under this one but my luck probably not. LOL Anyways had another PSA test this past week as I wait for biopsy on 27th. Dec was 5.1, Jan was 3.5, and Feb was 3.1. I'm still bothered by that number even though there was a decrease. I guess I just need to stay off the internet because the more I read about PCa in younger men; since I'm only 44, the more anxious and worried I get. It seems like in younger men PSA is relatively low but yet the aggressiveness of PCa is greater. I now question every joint pain that I have. I know I'm just panicking and assuming the worse but the 27th can't get here any faster. The days after that I assume are going to be the worst as I await the results. Enough venting and thanks again for all the advice!

This is very true, I think it was the hardest part of the diagnosis and treatment for me.


To get your signature to show you need to click on the "Post Reply" button and it will open up a more "advanced" editor where at the bottom there is a checkbox that says "Include Signature".

In fact you can "edit" your original post and it will show the advanced editor where you can then check the box and click on save.

I had a low PSA 3.42 and fPSA ratio 7.6%. Did they continue to measure your fPSA the other test? I'm glad that you are getting a Bx.I know that fPSA between 10 and 20 is kind of a gray area and you are smack in the middle. It's better than being below 10%
I had to keep on my Docs just to get a Bx because I was continually told that my PSA was normal.
Anyways you are following your gut and seem to have done your research. Maybe take a break from the internet, it could help.
I've been right where you are at and it's hard not to stress but you will be on the other side of the Bx before you know it!
