I get meds from the VA for diabetes which comes from either the VA doctor which some times sends them to CVS which is paid by my. My injections come from VA. The VA bills my insurance for visits at $600 each but I do not have to pay co pay as I am 100% from PC. The Va has a website an people you can call that will tell you how to do it.

CaptainDD...
I should have been more specific in my wording..I was meaning Penile Injectables ( which require a custom Pharmacy )..
Has anyone had experience dealing with Veterans Admin together w/ a Custom pharmacy prescript
ion ?
Thanks anyone..

some might refer to that as a "compounding pharmacy."
I've not dealt with the VA on issues like that, sorry.

Some drugs won't be paid for by the VA unless a VA urologist orders them. I have been successful taking a script
written by a non-VA physician to my VA PCP and he will enter that drug in the system.
I would discuss with your primary care team and/or your local VA pharmacist.

Thanks, Andrew...You're right... Custom is the name of my local Compounding pharmacy, and I mess up with that sometimes....
Seems like the older I get..the more my memory slips !
