No video for our choice; just the music - guess they never made one. Mind you, the comp this poster has put together to back the song is pretty cool. A whole different spin from us on this side of the planet - one of the greatest American jazz, blues, soul and gospel singers, songwriters and pianists of all time (IMHO!). A truly inspirational song from Donny Hathaway - One Day We'll All Be Free. Made even more deeply poignant by his tragic back story - at the height of his career Hathaway was diagnosed with schizophrenia and refused to take his prescribed meds regularly enough to control his symptoms. In January 1979, Hathaway's body was found outside the luxury hotel Essex House in New York City with his death ruled a suicide.
