Oh my! And I was just thinking that we hadn't heard from him lately and I knew he was supposed to be in the LA area last month. I will e-mail him. Get well soon Mel!

Sorry to read this bad news. My wife is a nurse in a large rehab center, cases like this can go either way, time will tell. Wishing only the best for him, he's been a fighter over the years, pretty sure he will be fighting this latest set back too.

Mel - I am so shocked and saddened to hear this. You've been through so much, and come so far, and now you have to deal with this, too.

You will most certainly be in my prayers. Once you have a better sense of where this is going, if email is practical, I will be there, too.

I'm not very active on HW anymore, but dropped by and found this horrible piece of news. Mel, I've always looked forward to your comments. So much common sense and a great attitude while dealing with some tough situations. Get well, my friend. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I haven't been on HW as much lately but something told me to pop in and check the threads tonight.

OMG, Brother Mel, I just sent you and email. I can't believe it. My prayers to you and Cheryl. Keep the faith, hopefully it is just temporary and you will begin to get some feelings back.

Mel, Cheryl and I had a 2 hour GFMPH meeting a couple of years ago in W Palm Beach. Meeting another PC brother makes things so much more personal.

Again keep the Faith!
