Days after Robotic prostate removal, what to expect?

7 days since removal. 4 more till cath removed. I don't think I have any major problems? Here is my I didn't see this coming list. 1 st extended belly and swelling in legs and feet. Gained 10 pounds since surgery, not watching what I eat! 2nd seeing blood clots or bloody looking strands in cath tube. 3-4 times a day usually after a bowl movement. 3 rd left testical tender?? Just wondering if any of you have experienced these or other issues?

The fluid retention is an issue. A big one. Call your surgeon's office now. Usually by day 3-4 the blood in the catheter is done. Are you taking stool softeners to make the going better?

I lost weight after surgery, but was well aware of low activity and over eating and snacking.

I had blood in my urine for a couple of weeks after the cath was out, Dr indicated it was expected.

I also leaked past the cath when I had a BM, learned how to gently push instead of giving it a good hard shove, seemed to reduce the leakage but it still happened.

As others indicated, I would call the Doc ASAP about the swelling, that does seem atypical.
