Urinsry flow difference day and night after TURP

One minth after TURP I am experiencing noticeable diffferencein my urine flow between days and night. During the day the stream is slow compared to night time Any one experience the same. Curious if I should be concerned.

I did not notice any difference in my flow between nights and days after my TURP. Of course, I was completely closed off before the surgery and back to normal afterwards, so I was ecstatic with my results. Tiny leakage for a month or so from time to time, but manageable and that went away too. I was healed within about 2 months, and now 20 months later, I am still completely back to normal. I would say you ought to mention it to your urologist if you are concerned.

My TURP was 9/14 and I couldn't be happier with the results. I will say sometimes the flow is not as strong as other times but I cannot associate it with time of day. Since it has always returned to strong flow I choose not worry about it.

A TURP can cause a urethral stricture. What you observe could be the beginning of this. You could have it checked.

Thanks everyone for responding. I will talk to my urologist next week. Just wanted to know if anyone experienced it too. My flow is getting better during the day too so maybe time is of the essence and I should be patient.
