BAT

I was just on the breast cancer site and noticed one of Veteran members posted about this BAT treatment
(Bi Polar Androgen Therapy) for PCa.

I don't see anything about it on PCa site and was wondering if anyone can enlighten me about it?

I have a friend who just entered the TRANSFORMER trial comparing BAT to Xtandi. He got randomized to the Xtandi arm.

I have been very interested in those who have had BAT, as it is about the only thing Gary hasn't tried. Redheaded skiier, Lisa, posted about her husband having it through his regular MO, following the protocol of a clinical trial, and she felt it was successful in prolonging the introduction of another therapy. (I hope I'm not misinterpreting what she said, but correct me Lisa , if I'm wrong).
I asked our MO, and he had never heard of it, and thought I was making up the "bi-polar" name it goes by. He said he would look in to it.
I hope we see more information here from others who have had it, or are in a trial.
