Volume of Ejaculation after Prostate Biopsy

Long-term, I wouldn't expect any change in ejaculate volume after a biopsy. Short-term, however, I would imagine that internal swelling could block things up, perhaps resulting in retrograde ejaculation (where the ejaculate flows back into the bladder), which might make it seem as if there is no ejaculate.

That said, I personally didn't notice any difference after biopsy. After treatment, though, is another matter.

oh yes, I did finally get my results back. Seems like it took forever. Pathology came back with no sign of cancer. Still having all the same symptoms. Prostate is enlarged. Can I have confidence in the results?

Yes I just started on Flomax, but dry orgasms started prior to that.

No I haven't noticed it being cloudy but I will use a cup next time.

I agree with Paxton - there may be swelling or scar tissue blocking your seminal vesicle ducts. Try to work it out with frequent orgasms. I recall that my semen volume was reduced by BPH prior to my treatment for PC. Congratulations on the negative biopsy!

TM..I would still speak with your urologist. Mine warned me to not be alarmed about possible dry orgasms. I would never exclude the Docs. What is nice about the forums is that you gain knowledge to ask informed questions.
