Thank you John! I am gathering information about the trial in Houston and waiting to see if Gary is going to respond to the blood transfusion to even feel well enough to consider that option. The l a st two days have been incredibly difficult, and I am trying to make sure that I do not push Gary into more treatment if he is just tired of it all and wants some peace. I hope tomorrow he will feel well enough to get out of bed and talk about what his wishes are. I knew this time would come eventually, but it doesn't make it any easier.

I am so very sorry to read this. I don't post often but do read almost daily and I have appreciated how encouraging and informative your posts always are. You and Gary are in our prayers. Please be sure to get some respite for yourself during this time.

So sorry to hear about Gary. I will keep you both in my prayers. You have been such a tremendous support to me and Gary's journey has given us a lot of inspiration and motivation to keep fighting. I will pray that he has the chance to see that sweet grandbaby.

Thank you to my HW family for the well wishes and prayers. Gary and I spent time over the weekend talking about clinical trials versus discontinuing treatment. At this point he doesn't feel like he has the stamina or will to make the trip to Houston. I know he is still processing his options, but we may be considering hospice soon.
Our grandbaby has been scheduled for delivery next Friday, and I feel certain Gary will be thrilled to see her sweet face.
He really enjoys having the grandkids around, even though he's too compromised to play with them, just their presence makes him smile.

I'm so sorry to hear the latest news. Sure hope that grandbaby gets here quickly. Nothing helps low spirits like a new baby. I hope you both can be a peace with your decisions.
