Octorobo,
Boy, that is a really encouraging story! Looks like you got everything nailed down well and in a timely fashion. This has been a long battle for you.
If you don't mind, when you get a chance, could you fill in the blanks for me on a couple questions?
From your post-RALP reading in 2007 of .005, until the Jan. 2015 reading of .060, what was the PSA trajectory? Just curious if it was a steady march upwards, or did the PSA increase slowly at first, with a more rapid rise as it approached .060, or what?
Also, could you talk a little about the change to a major cancer center? Why, and how did that go (other than the outstanding results)? Reason for asking is I am monitoring my slow uPSA rise and thinking ahead to what I need to do if things go south. I live in a mid-size city but could travel to a major center for SRT if it does become needed.
Did you get push-back from insurance about secondary treatment at the .060 level? Did you or your docs have to do a lot of 'splainin and was there pressure on you to wait till PSA went higher before starting SRT?
Thanks!
