I had biopsy in march.result clear but still experiencing dark brown blood in semen

Welcome to the forum.

It always takes longer than expected for the blood in one's semen to clear out after a biopsy. Sounds like you are taking longer than most guys but I wouldn't worry about it. As long as the blood is brown (not bright red) and the amount doesn't suddenly increase it's probably normal.

You might try stepping up your "actvity" for a couple of weeks. Frequent ejaculations will help flush out the blood quicker.

I had a Biopsy April 20 and mine cleared up after about 4 weeks.

Yours sounds like it is somewhat longer compared to most of what I have read but do not know
the reason(s). You may want to let your doctor know and see what his comment is.

One wonders...has anyone ever surveyed men post biopsy to find out how many emissions it takes to clear things up? 5? 10? 50? (probably not 50).

Of course, for those of us who no longer have one, emission of any kind is a distant memory. But, I will say, it has it's advantages--no mess.

It should resolve itself but if you are concerned, which you obvioulsy are, reach back to your Dr and let him know. Perhaps he will put your mind at ease.

I think that it is not just time, but also the number of ejaculations needed to clear the blood out. You know what to do....

Another thing to at least help calm you down a bit -- at least the blood you're seeing is dark brown. That means that it is old blood, not fresh bleeding. Remember the first times? Bright red - almost slasher movie red. Over time, as the internal bleeding stops, the blood becomes darker red, then brown, then eventually fades away.
