There are men who believe that if something lowers a PSA test number, it must also be curing the reason the number was elevated..Many learn the hard way it doesn't always work that way...A few years ago, Saw Palmetto was all the rage....Today it languishes on store shelves....Same with Pomegranate..

To the public, PSA is a cancer test, so something that lowers PSA means that cancer has been prevented. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of MD's out there who don't know this.
My old Urologist - the one who had me on Cipro for a couple years and missed my cancer on the biopsy, encouraged me to take saw palmetto. I still have a couple bottles left, even though I no longer have a prostate.
I can be pretty sure it wouldn't do anything for micromets.
