I just got results back. This was taken 8 weeks after surgery. Undetectable!

Define undetectable for us so we know we are not tilting at windmills...accomplished by an updated signature...ya know the details of your pca history...it's fine to post a thread. Like you did but it just doesn't mean anything other than congrats without the brats all juicy and tasty and... I mean where's the story

Ok, quickly

Age 58
Initial PSA 1/17.........29
Followup 2/17..........25
Biopsy 2/17........Gleason 7 (3+4) all left half involved. 40 to 90%
Surgery 5/17/17.......
Path report.......borders intact! Lymph's good!
Post op PSA 7/24/17..........undetectable

Not trying to sound cocky, but from everything I have deduced I am DONE with this cancer!

From day one I knew this would be the result!

Glad you have made it past surgery. " I don't want to sound cocky," but it is way too early to be self declaring you are thru with cancer. What kind of test was actually done? Standard or ultra-sensitive? What was the actual numeric result? Your pre-surgery PSAs were high, putting you in a higher risk class. It takes years to see a pattern to determine if you are "cured". Enjoy the results of the first test. That was the lead off batter in the first inning, there are at least 9 innings in this game with the possibility of extra innings.

The official number was < 0.01. Just had my second post surgical PSA and got the same number

Sounds good. Definitely an ultrasensitive test..and a great result. And it sounds like other things are starting to work as well. (The post on a nocturnal erection). May the zeros keep coming and the spontaneous risings be useful! (It's not too soon to use one if it happens again)
