BigAl,
I worked up a feature list for the ideal device a few years ago, shortly before you joined the forum. Most of it holds up fairly well but, given recent advances in the field, the voice activation features may need to be revisited.
My Device: A Modest ProposalMattamx,
I believe most insurance does cover implants when they are for reconstruction after prostate surgery or for Peyronie's disease. Many policies also cover them for documented ED lasting more than one year. If you Google the name of your insurance company plus "penile implant" you may find their general policies for such coverage. It's also something you can ask your uro about
. Most urologists have a pretty good idea what insurance does, and does not cover.
Here's a link to some info I posted two years ago about
having an implant and an artificial sphincter done.
