Can't find post surgery thread...Help

I'm looking for the post surgery supply thread. I've typed it in the search engine and have only come up w/ one from 2007 and that's not the one I'm looking for. The one I'm looking for was maybe 2014 and it was a pretty long thread of people posting things needed after RP. Can someone help me find it please?

Ok guys, nevermind, I found it...Why does it not surprise me that Pratoman actually started the thread (if he reads this he'll laugh at that). In that thread there's link for another thread called PCa: Really Useful Tips about Da Vinci Surgery and RT made by HW people for HW people....Is there any way that can be pinned to the top? Or is it pinned to the top and I just missed it?

We are only allowed two "sticky" / "pinned" threads, so the only thing we can do is put a link to those in posts in those two threads.

The content of the "sticky" threads was the subject of severe controversy and bickering some years ago, Email me the two thread links, and I'll check if they are there (I realized the other day that some were just buried).

Are there any plans for updated forum software? What we have is inefficient, difficult to navigate and out of date. The wonderful folks here deserve better, IMO.

Yes, before you ask, I'll be more than happy to contribute.

Ok, I just went back and read all the posts (after I sent you an email) and this is what was said about the thread in 2014 (142 said) "Some folks at the time decided the information in Casey's thread was more valuable, and the old sticky was chunked. But the conversation on updating the stickies turned into an ODOT argument, surgery vs. AS, you can imagine. I guess just fell by the wayside.I'll have a look at putting it back."

So maybe it is there and I'm just not finding it. A lot of people found that thread helpful.

Maybe I'll get to it this time. We are just Mods, not Admins, and when things get heated on other discussions, simple things get left by the side of the road. This last couple of weeks is a good example. I did see your emails, and will have a look at the stickies to see how we can fit it back in.

On second thought I'll just bump the PCa: Really Useful Tips about Da Vinci Surgery and RT made by HW people for HW people for the new people that are here. It has some really good info in it.~Miki
