Yeah Peter I finally figured out that the others were in deciliters and mine was done in milliliters after some searching on the web. My first test of my testosterone was done the same time as my first PSA and was at 205 ng/dl and it didn't occur to me this morning about
the ml/dl difference. My UR had said that the original test was low for a 40yo and that ideally it should be in the 400-500 range which is why he ordered another lab test, he said that he wanted to eliminate any chance of the results being due to a faulty lab reading.
He had talked to me about HT at my office but wanted to eliminate a bad test result first. I am actually hoping that he will put me on HT since at least then I will hopefully get back to feeling like a human and have some energy again. I have always worked 12-14 hrs a day and had plenty of energy but in the last 3 months its all I can do to get out of bed and try to function and by 3:00 in the afternoon I'm looking for a place to take a nap. So maybe if he does order HT I can get at least somewhat back to my original self.
On a side note he did give me some Viagra on my last visit and the wife is happy! Although I have to admit that it took some major pride swallowing on my part to take Viagra at 40 years old.
