1 year anniversary

Today is my 1 year anniversary of my open surgery at Duke. I’ve been undetectable with PSA reading so far and am fully continent. Still working on the ED issues, but seeing nice improvements lately.

I have no regrets about having surgery. I knew there would be some things to overcome, but having the cancer out and knowing definitive results were worth it.

I feel that a talented surgeon has a gift and that I’d rather have him “connected “ to me, rather than detached and operating from a remote device

The doctor I chose had a great record and had performed more than the 2 robotic surgeons at the hospital combined
