I have a reading disability and have been all bummed out that I have positive margins. Well I don't. The path report said ' Margins uninvolved by invasive carcinoma". My brain reads over the little stuff, so my brain saw "margins involved. by invasive carcinoma". TA said I should know how much margins were involved. I called the pathology dept and they said. Margins? You have no margins! Did you read the report? Uninvolved margins!!! I need force myself to read slower. Today is a much brighter day.

Outstanding! Noted in signature that you use BiMix would it be to asking to much for the two ingredients in your mix and what your starting administered dose was and current dose? Thank you.

my bimix is 1 phentolamine and 30 papaverine. The pge1 in trimix gave me great pain. The URO had me start at 10 units. That was way low. I moved up to 45 units, 5 units at a time. Still was no firm. So I decided to use a small amount of trimix with it. I can tolerate 5 units of trimix with just a small amount of pain. 5 units of trimix with 21 units of bimix does the job. This procedure is off the wall and I am NOT advising it but that is what I do. Next uro appt I am going to see if we can come up with something that works from the compounding lab. Injections are discussed at length at a site named FrankTalk

Thank you for the information. I am 5 months out from RALP, have access to three big PDE5s and a VED. At this point know PDE5 is for better blood circulation as is VED. I have had successful intercourse with spouse using these but I must admit that "hinge effect" causes problems. Discussed with URO and he provided approval to local compounding pharmacy to provide BiMix Gel not injections. I have reviewed comments on FrankTalk site as well as others. From research, I asked that gel be a mixture of alprostadil and phentolamine as I am, at this time, adverse to papaverine. I know we are all different so won't know anything until commencement of intraurethral gel treatment to judge effect and gauge appropriate dose. Again, congratulations on your good news!!!
