... The dr suggested he go to the PT who does work for the PC guys... It turns out he wasn't doing his kegels the right way. So word to the wise, if you get an opportunity to get this kind of help go for it.
I think only some guys end up with bowel problems from RT... just my luck. Yes, if he's made it this far he's probably in the clear. And I have spoken with BC survivors who speak of skin burns. I think it has something to do with how the RT is administered, as the prostate is deep within the abdomen but the breasts are outboard, so to speak.
And I had the PT as a last resort before going with the AUS. Certainly anyone who still has some continence problems months after RP should go for it.
