Finished My SBRT Treatments- yeah!

Another post toastie joins the ranks! Just finished up #5 and got my graduation diploma today from Dr. King et al in Santa Montica/UCLA. What a nice feeling to get this in the rear view mirror for now and hopefully for good. My PTV included 5mm all around according to Dr. King. I am 6'0, 215 lbs., and he said my anatomy would support it. I guess its good to be on the little fat side for now. So far so good with a scrip for flomax and otc ibuprofen to be taken as needed. Plane ride back tomorrow to Tennessee hopefully will be none eventful smhair

Will be using LabCore near my home to report Quarterly PSA results back to UCLA.

Could not recommend Dr. King and his staff more highly if you need to travel to be treated like me!

I've met so many doctors in the LA area, but he remains my favorite. Congratulations on getting through it - I hope the SEs are mild.

Congradulations on completing the SBRT treatment and hope you do not have SE and your PSA
drops in line with expectations and the Pca all dies away.

Thanks for the well wishes everybody! It's a lot to take in during the last several months from Dx through trying to digest all the information to finally Treatment. Now it's time to sit back and relax and enjoy life again.

This has no doubt taken a large part of your focus for many months. Have solace knowing you did the best you can do and (try to) forget about PCa for awhile. Great job and congrats.

Sponge..... Wow! Congratulations on completing SBRT and joining the growing list of us here on HW. And hopefully your SE's will be like most and won't be much to speak of. I wish you the best as you move along to your post-treatment testing.

Great!! welcome to the other side. Now just wait for that first PSA showing a decline and then many more after that. I just had the first blood draw today and will get results tomorrow ( I hope ).
