I have a vacuum pump device and am not sure the best method to use it for ED therapy.

Looking for insight on the regimen guys here have used and the results you've seen.

To get info on how to use vacuum pump for penile rehabilitation I found best info on franktalk.com.
You will read about people with good experiences with vacuum pumps and good info on how to improve erectile function using this type of rehabilitating tool.
My personal experience is; pump never produced usable erection for me, not even with constricting rings. Penis just looked extremely swollen with water in subcutaneous tissue.

A VED never made much difference for me and after Lupron and radiation I have total ED.

Even if you don’t have lasting erections use it 2-3 per week and hope you got trimix prescription going as well. Natural Erections, if you are on the lucky side may even take 1-2 years after surgery as nerves take longer to heal. Vacuum and trimix will keep the sleeping cells healthy till the time the nerves recover and can wake them up.

shave pubic hair completely...apply the ggrease...get it sealed and pump away...do it daily...whether you want to or not...Its purpose is to get blood into the penis...I used it faithfully for a year...at 2 years I got erections with Viagra...which I still need...but its cool... It aint ever gonna be the way it used to be...but nothing is...im in my 70's...when it came back it was like a fawcett was turned on...you probably don't have the patience...so do the shots .... they have there own problems tho...others can tell you about if thry want..

I use a silicone seal from, calexotics, They call it a universal pump sleeve. No need shave. Much easier on your pubic area. fits up to 3 inch cylinder. I agree with above do it daily. You need blood flow till nature takes over or implant time. I also use trimix every 4 days.

Guys, I purchased a fancy pump, but haven't used it, because all it seems like is a clever ********** device.

I have a more attractive assistant for that action, even as I endure the withering effects of 2ADT.

What am I missing?

Try to keep a positive attitude thru your upcoming struggles. All of us had to deal with the aftermath to some extent.

Keep using the pump despite of the lack of quick results. Allow yourself time to heal. I have struggled with that concept since surgery. I pump a few times a week if I feel ok.

I started using the pump around 6 to 7 months after surgery. It took a while for all the paperwork to get done. The supplier lost my order, and their customer service was horrible.

Despite that, with using pills, I can fortunately have relations with my wife with some success. She is understanding.

Your objective is to get at least three erections of some sort every week, ideally once a day if you can manage it.

What a lot of guys do here is to alternate days where they use the vacuum device on, say, Monday, Wednesday and Friday and see what PDE5i pills (Viagra, Levitra, Cialis, etc.) will do for them on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. (Fee free to pump on your pill days after a sincere effort with the pills.) If that doesn't work in a month or two you can switch to trimix injections for your T, Th, S sessions.

The reason you should mix in pills and/or injections with your pumping is that while the vacuum device does pull blood into the penis which helps keep it oxygenated, it pulls in a mix of arterial blood (oxygenated) and venous blood (less oxygenated). If you can get an erection from pills or injections it is all oxygenated arterial blood which works better for keeping the tissues oxygenated.

A few side notes: The least expensive ED pills are usually called "generic sildenafil." Your urologist can hook you up with a prescription. You should consider injections if you can't get a response to the pills in a month or so of trying. Again, your uro can hook you up with those, too. They're easier to do than you think.

I had a severe Peyronie's disease (Penile Plaque Disorder) about 10 years ago and used VED daily for years for pumping up the penis. It was different from an erection but it seemed to bring an occasional spontaneous erection in following days and it also helped with attempts at intercourse or orgasm with more erection. I heartily recommend it. I built it into an exercise/movement routine to make it more interesting. Figuring out how to work the thing just right took a while.

While the VED helped, I found a bodyworker who had studied heart-pelvic work developed by Jack Painter, now deceased. The guy I found was/is a genius with pelvic area, extremely professional and very knowledgeable. The results after his sessions were very quick, like next day, and very surprising. I still occasionally get a tune up from the guy (outside nyc but also travels to California regularly.)

Recently, I told an RO the story during an appointment, and later in the session, near the end, he said, "That is the most extraordinary recovery from Peyronie's that I have ever heard."
