I'm off today with a snow day here in central New Jersey. We are expecting 12-18 inches of snow today. Tough going for the first full day of Spring. Lucky that I have no appts. for the next couple of days. Time to sit back and watch some old movies.

I live out on the east end of Long Island and we are expecting at least a foot out here.

We have about 2 inches right now (noon eastern time) with about 1/2 inch of ice underneath it in Montgomery county PA. The snow is not coming super fast...but it is steady and the map is showing 'nothing but blue' all around. Forecast is for 6-10 inches before it's done tonight.

Working from home today.

dbell, jaymot, maybe someday the three of us should have a mini-GFMPH! I work in Central Jersey (if there really is such a geographic spot).

I used to live in Upstate NY so I feel your pain. Actually, I should say I used to feel your pain. I'm now full time in SW Florida where today we have bright sun and low 70's. Our main problem is traffic from the snow birds that keep coming down during "season" because of the crappy weather "up north". But we are gonna fix that! We Floridians are planning on building a wall between Florida and Georgia and no one will be allowed in unless one leaves. And, BTW, Georgia will pay for that wall!

Delaware reporting! about 5" so far. 5-8" or 6-12" predicted depending on which weather service you choose to believe.

Bergen County, Northern New Jersey reporting! It started about 10:30 and now it's coming down heavily, but not sticking to the roads yet. This has been a long March!

Upstate NY, dry here, but I had to cancel pre-SRT scan and MRI at MSKCC Westchester because of the storm there. Rescheduled for April 25, hoping the delay won’t matter.

Hal, as I mentioned previously...I am seeing doctors at MSKCC in Basking Ridge....that is central Jersey, to me! yeah

Just checked weather in motion map and it looks like it should be starting here in central Massachusetts just after 7 p.m. So we've made an either optimistic or stupid decision to go ahead with a scheduled conservation subcommittee meeting at town hall at 6:00. If we talk fast we can get out just as the snow is starting. One of the quirks of small town democracy is we have to accommodate both the weather and the open meeting law. If we cancel a public meeting we can't set a new date without first posting a public notice at least 48 hours in advance.

I lived in New Haven for 9 years, never played Shinnecock or even Bethpage, but as Yale staff I got to play the amazing Yale Golf Course nearly every day after work. Still miss that.
But I don’t miss nor’easters. Good luck with that, guys.

I'm not Crazykick. But I AM crazy. I left Southeast Florida today, and am currently in a hotel room in Savannah. Tomorrow night I'll be in NC. And by Friday night I'll be back in NY, my current primary residence.
So I'm driving right into the Northeast, to wait for the next Nor'easter. And to get a PSA blood draw. And to eat Matzoh for Passover. When I could have stayed in Florida.

I need a frontal lobotomy.😩🔫

Oh, and Jim/Tudpock.... we're NOT PAYING FOR THAT WALL!!! 😂

This particular Noreaster seems to have had it's bullseye on the Philadelphia/New Jersey/NYC corridor--here in Montgomery County PA (just north of Philadelphia), we got at least a foot of snow. Is this the Patriot's revenge on the Eagles?

Good Morning Guys I could brag that a foot of snow here in Northern Minnesota wouldn't even slow us down but I'm staying quiet all 4 storms have missed us up here so I ain't saying nutin!! LOL Progress it sucks that you had to miss your scans and mri another month should be ok. Oh by the way guys still have over a foot of snow in the yard so no golfing here unless you want to do it on snowshoes!! Have a great day everyone and be Safe!

Safe driving Prato. You dodged a bullet with the storm. Roads look good up here. Hit the horn when you drive by exit 4 on the NJTP. And a Happy Passover to you and your family. Never tried Matzoh, but i’ve been to Florida. I got a feeling Florida would have been a better choice......lol

I’d say you’re in central jersey. I see my MO and RO in MSKCC Monmouth. I’m in South Jersey, outside of Philly.
BTW.....your handle is actually my first initial and last name. First time i saw it, I thought my brother, who has the same initials signed on here to check on me...
