First PSA Bounce Post SBRT

Just received my third post SBRT PSA and I got a small bounce for the first time. January of 2017 at diagnosis PSA was 7.3, end of last October was 2.5, end of January 2018 1.64, and today 1.76. Testosterone in October 2017 was 386 and today is 343. So I'm good with the PSA right now. It will be interesting to see what happens at the end of July. Anyway, life is good. No side effects at all from the treatment and all systems still work, some better than others but no appreciable change since my treatment. I can pee like a racehorse and can still have satisfying sex with a little help. Coming up on 71 so I'm happy. I wish good outcomes for all who are involved on this site and I thank you all for your encouragement, not just to me but to all others.

PSA can be a bit bouncy after RT.

Sound like you're doing just fine!

take a look at how my PSA bounced up and down. I know it's stressful but that's just the way it is with radiation.

F8.....Thanks for the reference to your PSA history. The bounce potential was expected and it's not something I will dwell upon at all.....until the next test. Obviously, I would prefer the next test not show any kind of significant uptick. BTW, just looked at your photos yesterday and shared them with my family. Totally awesome work.

Subdenis.....Bounces are part of the journey and are to be expected, even to the extent that a downward PSA trend replete with bounces is preferable to one without because of less chance of BCR.

Thanks Bus.....it's quite nice to be on this side of the treatment and at least to this point, not be dealing with any major issues. Actually, the best thing about being done with the treatments is that I'm not spending money on or "enjoying" enemas on a constant basis before all the incessant testing, biopsy, etc...... smilewinkgrin

Haven't had a "finger wave" in months and that is fine with me after those dozens I so enjoyed, not, pre tx.

OMG, Roger, you are so right. It would be a much better deal if the medical community would figure out how to access a prostate through some alternative orifice...... smilewinkgrin

The other day I was sitting down at the local Brew Pub playing cribbage. I was sitting right next to the dish washing station when the barmaid put on a pair of latex gloves to wash glasses. When she "popped" the glove on I broke out in a cold sweat.
