Your PSA has reached the point where adding ADT may be a good idea, and whole-pelvic radiation as well:

Important to get a dose of at least 70 Gy to the prostate bed.

I assume since my surgery was about 10 years ago, I can't get a Decipher test done. Is that right?

Hi There guys

For info- I have just had a Gallium psma scan In the UK it cost me a wacking £1500.00 but I figured if it showed the disease it may be worth it, result was negative so this means that any remaining tissue did not show. They say the minmum psa level is around 0.2 for this test which mine was. My consultant had never heard of this scan ?!
Would I have it again well yes as there was a chance it may have helped with the RT planning,They gave me a CD of the full body scan and I spent some time checking it over on the laptop well I had diagnosed myself with tumors around the Prostate bed in the bowel and near my heart lol, so I would not recomend
checking it yourself.

So back to the hunch by the DR that it is in the bed and I have after much deliberating decided to go for
RT of the p-bed
but then I may change my mind tomorrow after a bad night.....

Rp in 2011, Gleason 7 (3+4) with extra prostatic extension over 3mm. pT3 N0 Mx,
post op psa 0.06 up very slow climb to now when it is 0.2
continent, but had ED using caverject.
65 and reasonably fit.

Been waiting for the experts to respond, so my guess is that if tissue is still available from your biopsies or any final path report, it can still be done? Discuss with your Doc's, obviously.

John4803, I guess I should mention that my surgery was a City of Hope, and I moved out of the area many years ago. My surgeon left there years ago also. I think it's unlikely that they were keeping tissue samples back then, but I haven't checked. Something I can ask my new docs I guess.
