If you highlight undecidedtx's link and then right-click it and hit "open link" it works..

The researchers in Alberta are to be congratulated on their discovery..I hope this line of research is picked up by some of the big gun cancer research facilities in The States who have the money and facilities to pursue this discovery quickly as it could be a game changer.

There is no doubt that immunotheropy and gene manipulation is where the CURE for cancer will be found..

Thanks for these updates ...

I have to believe, step by step, across the world ... in laboratories ... there are hundreds of researchers working on advances in the treatment of prostate cancer.

We've seen some of these in recent years ... PROVENGE, XOFIGO, ZYTIGA, XTANDI ...

New medications ... and older medications, used in new mixtures, or different sequences ... specialized "chemo cocktails" ... ahh, individualized medicine, coming soon ... to a theater near you ...

Keep HOPE alive ...

Keep facing FORWARD ...

Some researcher, no doubt about it, probably made a new discovery TODAY that going to help some fellow, down the road ... in the future ...

Meanwhile, I am being helped TODAY by a discovery made "yesterday" ... a few years ago ... I just opened my 36th bottle of ZYTIGA.

That's some real HOPE ... magic in a bottle, so to speak.

May the researchers ... the magicians ... those magic genies ... keep finding NEW magic ... NEW potions ... NEW elixirs ... to keep filling those bottles ... to help ALL our brothers.

Ahhh, the wonders of RESEARCH !

Every year, 600,000 people die from cancer in the U.S....600,000......

"Our eventual goal is to be able to say to a woman with breast cancer: Here, take this pill and your cancer won't spread throughout your body," Bergan adds. “The same thing for patients with prostate, lung, and colon cancer.…This drug is highly effective against four cancer types (breast, colon, lung, prostate) in the in vitro model so far. Our goal is to move this forward as a therapy to test in humans."

I think a lot of these "breakthroughs" could be "moved forward" much quicker than they currently are...People with terminal cancer are willing to take some risks....

In regard to KBU2046 I found an article about it from December 2010. They are writing about it in 2018 in order to try to raise funds for clinical trials.

In addition to the new medications, which have emerged in recent years ...

I would also like to say that I have appreciated the improvements they have made in the TREATMENT process, as well ...

For example, adding components to chemotherapy to mitigate nausea and lethargy ...

Smaller needles for infusions, IVs, and lab work ...

Improved radiation machines, with fine-tuned precision --- to target specific tumors and to lessen damage to surrounding healthy tissue ...

These are just a few that come to mind ...

In my case, I had to overcome a sudden allergic reaction to my chemotherapy infusion ... and they immediately infused an antidote, on the spot, so that my chemotherapy could proceed that day ...

So, I am thankful for the REFINEMENTS in treatments that are emerging, as well.
