Thank God for my Hydrocele!

If it wasn't for the hydrocele I'd be looking like my testicles never descended.

When I saw my GP two years ago, after about six years of not seeing him, I commented that my testicles seemed to be on the small side. So I had that (TTT) added to my blood work. Nothing out of bounds was found in the blood work and the doctor said their size wasn't a concern.

Now I feel some mass down there but are they ever small and smaller than two years ago. I'm guessing my right testicle is now about the size of a very small pea. The left testicle is lost in the close approximation to the hydrocele.

Is this common after brachytherapy boost therapy?

That's not something that's been mentioned in relation to that kind of radiation, at least not that I can recall.

Shrinkage is a definite side effect of hormone therapy though; mine ended up about like small grapes within about the first 6 months of ADT and have never recovered any size. Probably three years of ADT sealed the deal in that regard.

Your signature doesn't mention that, but with a G8 case it would be fairly common to add hormone therapy to radiation. Do you recall anything like Lupron or some such? That would typically be quite memorable to most men.

I had one undescended testicle which no physician ever mentioned until my wife and I were trying to conceive. Fertility Doc said for various reasons it should be removed. Done and no joy on having children. A few years ago I had a hydrocele which was surgically removed, nothing to do with my PCa.

Every six months I'll be having blood work done before seeing my RO.

In the blood work there will be two tests, one is the PSA and the other is TTT which I believe to be testosterone.

Why is the testosterone even being checked?

Mine dropped. It's recovered some, but not 100%
