I think it's a bit early for an RO conversation, but if it would give you more confidence - what the heck, talk is cheap (or hopefully just a copay).

IF (big if) you do have a rising pattern, SRT is the next step and an RO would be needed.

and it's too late to second guess your choice for primary treatment - deal with where you are.

but yeah, I think some people pick the wrong treatment mode, but in life as in woodworking - it's not how well you can make the cut, rather it's how well you can fix a mistake.

I signed up for LabCorp to see my test results. If what this says IS true, my PSA is still very low:
PSA, Ultrasensitive W/O Serial

Roche ECLIA methodology.
According to the American Urological Association, Serum PSA should
decrease and remain at undetectable levels after radical
prostatectomy. The AUA defines biochemical recurrence as an initial
PSA value 0.200 ng/mL or greater followed by a subsequent
confirmatory PSA value 0.200 ng/mL or greater.
Values obtained with different assay methods or kits cannot be used
interchangeably. Results cannot be interpreted as absolute evidence
of the presence or absence of malignant disease.

OK, your PSA is 0.015. Let's assume that BCR is confirmed when it climbs to 0.10. Let's further assume a moderate doubling time of 6 months. To get to above 0.1, you need 3 doublings: 0.015 to 0.030, 0.030 to 0.060, and then 0.060 to 0.120. Which gives you 18 months (and there is no evidence of movement in your case). If you define BCR at 0.20, then you get another doubling, which gives you 2 years.

You guys are great.. Here's my question. I got my pathology report and I had my RP, plus lymph node dissection (12) each side, plus left nerve spared. All reports showed nothing in the lymph nodes, nothing in the seminal vessel and negative margins. So, and after stepping away and looking back in and getting an email back from Dr. Yu who I meet with on 8/29 he said after looking at my report: "looks decent" which I am really not sure what to read into that? But.. back to my 2 original reports as being non detectable and my other 3 readings, 0.009, then 0.008 and then 0.014, all of them do appear to be >0.15 but they way that they apparently measure things have changed. Had they not changed, I would probably not have had this scare. So, in reality, is there a chance and based on the pathology report, that they did get everything? or like someone said........... continue to take life in 3 month increments until told differently? I am still meeting with Dr. Yu at the SCCA on the 28th as he seems to be very knowledgeable. The fact that my urologist sent me an appointment to see the Radiation Oncologist was perhaps to have him say the same thing, that 0.014 is still low and we must continue to just monitor it in 3 month increments? I got a voicemail from the Swedish Cancer Care Radiation Oncology department. They want me to schedule and appointment because basically my Urologist wanted to get me out of his hair as I was raising a stink about my psa last test being at 0.014. Hearing that VM sent chills down my spine. I am meeting with Dr. Yu at the SCCA/UofW on the 29th and I am going to take his direction. You are right about the LabCorp changing their measurements. Per my Dr. Yu he told me to chill out and wait till we meet and establish a plan as he is of the mindset to not do anything until 0.03 he said. Brian
