Been off work foe 2 months now .lim s heavy duty truck tech ..thought I would relax during EBR and then brachytherapy..tp be honest I don’t think I can handle going back yet ..but sitting here stewing isn’t helping either ..
I hope I can ease back into into it ..mentally I’m not great yet still having regrets ..getting up every hour u til 230 am to urinate takes its toll on you .1000 mig at night hardly anything during the day

I heard of some kind of condom catheter that you can slip on and it pour into a urinal? Maybe ask about
that at night??

Stan, if you feel you need some more time, and can swing it, then stay away from work. With that said, in my opinion, you should find something else to distract you. As you aid, sitting and stewing wont help you. Whatever it is, doing a crossword, reading a book, watching movies, or old comedies on Netflix, out with friends, i think you would be good to stay busy. JMHO

STan,
I had surgery, and went back to work too soon. Now, my boss wasn't particularly cooperative about
it--he expected me to be 100%, which I wasn't, not really, for months.
Staying busy is important. Even when you go back, is there some kind of light duty or limited duty possible?

Stan, I was unemployed when I was Dx'd. It ended up being 6 months outta work. Really bad late summer/fall season that year. The wife sent me in for a check up since I had time on my hands. DX=depression=excessive beer drinking. After surgery I had to tell prospective employers I couldn't start untill after the first of the year and most backed away from an offer.
