I started trying to find my answer in previous posts but I got a little overwhelmed. My business just has me tied in knots right now.
I thought I had seen where there were other ways to test your progress other than PSA. As you can see in my signature, mine is relatively low for 11 years after original diagnosis, but even though they're small, it has had 3 straight rises, the first one being 5 times the previous one. My doctor is talking Lupron if this trend remains the same in April, when I have my next check up.
So, two questions: Are there other methods to use? I've never been to any doctor but urologists; should I get a second opinion from an oncologist before I go the chemical castration route?
