OMG I must have missed something. I only log on once a week or so, but it's been a couple of crazy ones and I haven't been here for a moment. I can't believe you're thinking of leaving Allen - You have helped GG and I so very much since his diagnosis. If someone (or something) has upset and/or offended you, I am so very sorry to hear this. For the record, I agree with others - you're the main reason I have kept coming back to this forum, as your wisdom, generosity in sharing same, and knowledge of all things PCa related, has been absolutely invaluable to us.
I do hope this gets sorted out, or we will have to join the other forum as well, and that will really do my head in!

Yeah, the trolls call it "jacking" the thread. whether it is a "good" thing or a "bad" thing depends on the topic and the participants.

Point: Once upon a time I had an issue with some of the posts here. I spoke quietly with the mods and they got the issue solved to my satisfaction. That issue has not come up again since. I don't think the rest of us even noticed, and that is fine with me.

I have acquired a fatal disease, prostate cancer. Surgery, first-round chemo ("ADT") and radiation have failed to "cure" me. I come here for the occasional bit of new information, social support and some perspective. If I think I can contribute, I say something. I don't say anything if I don't feel like it. I get to keep my sense of humor as that is part of who I am.

I do not care if you like me or like what I say, I participate because I choose to, will stay or leave for the same reasons. yeah

At the risk of, you know, hijacking this thread, I prefer to think of my incurable diseases as simply that, incurable but not necessarily fatal. I have several incurable diseases. They tend to accumulate as you get older. It's possible that one of them will eventually take me out and turn out to have been a "fatal" disease but until one of them does...

We each came here for support, information - anything to keep from sinking in the sea of PC.
Some stay beyond their need for help to help others along the way.
Some go as soon as they earn their less than sign.

But what troubles me is this the attitude of, "This place has to change or I'm leaving."

When that gets into your brain - it's time to leave. I know this is counter to most of the posts here, but when a member gets to that place - well it's time to say a good, good-bye and wish them well in their future.

I'm not changing, this forum isn't changing. Let's be real and wish the person in question all the best in their future travels and hope that he can continue to help people in other places.

Nothing is forever, life changes, and we go on.

I think this thread has exceeded it's usefulness and I suggest the mods lock it.

It's a violation of forum rule 3: 3. No posts that attack, insult, flame, defame, or abuse others.

If you don't like the moderator or the way the site is managed - there are other places to go.

Mods - again, I recommend locking this thread.

There is a lot that i could say in response to Allens "comments". However, for now at least, i will remain silent.

As for Gary, its pretty well known here that you have your own agenda. You really should stop commenting, this is the second time you've used Allen's issue with my editing two of his posts (a true crime against humanityeyes) to continue your denigrating comments towards me which is of no service to the forum. I ignored the first comment, a few days ago. I wish you would have been true to your word and kept me on Ignore.

I have not commented on any threads related to the recent nonsense, in a week, other than to agree with Andrews comment that we should stop talking about it. I have shown restraint while being attacked. However this is now at a point where it really will hurt the forum. Time to act like adults, folks.

I am locking this thread.
