Noticed blood today in ejaculate....any need to worry ?

Almost two years post SBRT radiation for intermediate Pca.
Everything going well with PSA decreasing at the 6 month intervals it's being tested and functioning well on a day to day basis.
Today I noticed some blood in the minimal amount of ejaculate that is produced.
Due to see my radiation oncologist in December for follow-up.
Any need to worry.....thoughts ?

Radiation therapy can cause some little capillaries in there to become a bit fragile. It only takes a tiny amount of blood to be visible. I had some blood in urine a couple years after RT had ended. It was only a couple of times about a week apart, and nothing since so just a minor blip.

It's likely temporary, but you may want to at least mention it to your doc.

Yup, damage, problems from RT can happen months/years later.

RT, the gift that keeps on giving. the muscle action of ejaculation is likely break the blood free.

I had a little blood in semen also only once. I emailed the nurse at UFPTI and she sent a response which basically said the cause was most likely the result of post radiation effect as others have said here and on other posts. My RO apparently saw her response and called me to say she was not entirely correct in her response to me. It was possible he said, but not very likely. More likely was an infection or inflammation caused by prostatitis. He advised me to follow up with my Uro if it continued as he did not see this as related to my radiation treatment.
It is a fairly common occurrence and is usually not serious from what I read on the subject. Most men do not even know they had such an occurrence.
