Started the day with a 6.6 mile run, a tenth for each year, as today is my birthday. Played golf with my wife. Then we had our 6 month post hdrbt checkup. My RO gave us great hope and said everything looks great. We will see him in April. Now I need to eat my carrots. Oh they are in my birthday carrot cake!

Thanks all. Yesterday had many gifts, the greatest was a sense of hope about my PC. Not felt that before. My RO is such an awesome communicator and Florida hospital is so friendly and easy to do business with. Life is good.

Every time I hear of someone out running, or see a runner, my heart wants to be out there with them. Then my pacemaker says "Give it up. I'm not going there" and my knees say "No ****** way!"

As long as you can still run, go for it!

Happy birthday from another HDR brachy guy! I'm not sure why I can't run 6.6 miles after my treatment like you are doing. Oh wait, maybe it's because I couldn't run 6.6 miles *before* my treatment...

Here in Montana you have to be ready in case you encounter a bear and you don't want to be the slowest one in your hiking group.
