When taken on an "as needed" basis Cialis has the advantage of lasting longer. Sildenafil (Viagra) is only good for a few hours but Tadalifil (Cialis) lasts for 24 to 36 hours. Both work. There are a few more side effects with sildenafil but its patent is expiring and it's way cheaper.

Neither one worked for me, not even at highest dose. Not even as combined.
Viagra was giving me headaches, Cialis bad low back pain.

Neither worked for me, so I tried Trimix which has worked but not always. I will talk to Urologist to see if I can get the prescription tweaked a wee bit. Your mileage may vary!

the one that works for you...experiment...if none...then the pony syndrome...yuck...I'd get a strapon before that....

Well, the one that works is the better one. I had tried Viagra before RALP and a half tab worked great. Now I am taking low dose sildenafil daily for rehab without negative side effects.

I do the 5mg daily Cialis (insurance was paying for it before I hit Medicare), but have never had much luck with it. No real side effects.

Viagra gives me the blue vision (literally like wearing a pair of blue glasses). With the other vision issues, I stay away from anything that might worsen them.

I found that Cialiis worked better, but had to get the dose down to 2.5-5mg every few days or else it gave me bad heart burn and lower back pain (I think blood will tend to accumulate there) I ended up pretty much stopping it since I didn't seem to need it anymore about 15 months after RALP.

What did you have and what rehabilitation did you do?
