uPSA result <0.006 (Labcorp). Was with the surgeon this morning, discussed result and scheduled next uPSA for 3 months.

Because of my ECE+ / SVI+ but clear margins, we discussed Adjuvant Radiation but he discussed continuing the uPSA every three months to check for changes. Did order a Decipher test to get a better idea of my Gleason (3+4). Though I thought the 10% of 4 in the samples was not that high a percentage, he felt that the test might be worth it.

Thrilled with the lab results but as others have experienced, the road is a long one. I work aquaintence's husband had the surgery 8 years ago at a different institution but didn't monitor - now having a very tough time with the hormone therapy.

Good stuff. Monitor and if starts going up, you'll be ready for it.

Exactly, I had 5 sessions of PMR at the Radiation location post op and met with the RO prior to the surgery.

Great results and good job with taking things one step at a time. You’re now entering 3 month mode. A PSA test every 3 months. Most guys experience some anxiety as their next PSA test approaches. This is normal and is just part of the PCa gig. It’s manageable and, over time, has gotten easier for me.

I should have mentioned what PMR is

Pelvic Muscle Rehab - Kegals with an anal probe, 1x a week for 5 weeks. They also did electric stimulation on the machine which was interesting. If you do these, make sure the electric is not set too high! You'll feel it for days afterward.

Thanks for the heads up. No doubt I'll be learning more about this after tomorrow (catheter comes out!) I'm dreading it.

No one has ever missed an appointment to have their cath removed. Hopefully you've read the many posts about what to do post op. If not, just start a new thread and ask. Hint: walk a lot.

Yes, the day the cath comes out is worth giving up 5 Christmases for. For me, wearing that thing was the most annoying part of the whole experience. If someone had tugged on while it was in I'd have revealed all my passwords.
