Great news , met with the Urologist today he stated that a reading of 2.04 the cancer had returned, discussed two years of radiation and Lupron shots, As I was leaving I requested a new PSA test, he said it was more than likely not needed, but I insisted... New results today 0.02 undetectable, the Dr. Called me personally as he seldom has the chance to give folks good news... So yes Labs do make mistakes...I feel that now I am going to request the test at 6 month intervals.. Thanks to all of the community.

Labs do make mistakes. Out of band results should always be confirmed.
Congratulations on the great number.

WOW! That's crazy, but the end result is sweet! You are 7 year post RP after high risk, right? Extra sweet!

Rule of thumb: any "unexpected" PSA test result should always be re-tested

Anything below 0.10 is considered "undetectable" by my doctors ...
That's a great word --- if we were playing SCRABBLE, I think the word "undetectable" should be worth triple WORD score on the SCRABBLE board !
Handshake of congratulations,
