How is going with your pump? I ordered a pump which I use it 2x daily togther with my Kegel excersises. I realise that it sucks blood into the penis but as soon as I take the pump out I lose the erection. They delivered it with penis rings but these rings are such that the cylinder has to be taken out before fitting the rings. Before I can fit the ring my penis becomes soft.

I have decided to ask my dr to order a medical grade pump. This has the ring at the base of the cylinder which slips on to the penis easily after one has attained full erection. My dr also prescribed VITAROS that I should use it in combination with Viagra 100mg. The Vitaros should be used on days I plan having sex. Tried the vitaros and had hard erection enough for sex but I didn't that day. At another day I used it and it effect lasted 1.5hrs. The 3rd time I used it, I had no effect because I did not combine it with Viagra. Now I know I have to use it it about an hr after taking viagra.

To reduce the side effects of much drugs I still want to combine the medical grade penis pump with Viagra or Cialis.
I am exactly 30 days post operation.

Merry Christmas OleJ. I too am using my pump at least once a day and try to twice a day. It has enabled me to have enough of an erection to have sex twice since I received it. During sex I still have to stop several times and go back to the pump, and then back to my wife, but it works fairly well. It seems to get better each time. I think it's making a difference. I'm still taking 5-10 mg of Cialis on days I plan on trying to have sex. My follow-up appointment with my Doc is January 9th. I hope to start with Viagra at that point and I intend to ask him about the Vitaros. Sounds like a good combination.

Great news for you. I also began having erections a few days post op with catheter still in. You are getting good blood flow and the nerves are functioning. The nerves are slow to heal but it sounds like you are on your way to having more fun as I have.
After healing get some ED meds. Sildenfide, viagra if you need it.

Happy New Year. Do you take the Viagra daily? I am 41 days post surgery. Meeting surgeon next week's Thursday, the 10th of Jan.

@olej. Try putting the RING on the end of the pump in about the last 1/4 inch, the part that is going to be closest to the pelvis. Once you have pumped it up just slide down the ring onto the penis shaft, then remove the pump.

Also, try doing some massaging and rubbing at the base of the penis. This will encourage more blood flow and re-vascularization of the overall area.

@oleJ I do not take it daily. Would if I could. Too expensive. I have found US pharmacy that has 20mg sildenfil, not sure of spelling, and a few of them work as well as the big V. But each 20mg is only 2 bucks each. Take 30 to 45 minutes prior to performing and it’s like I am half my age. Good luck with visit .

Bob D, not sure where your at, but I used a coupon from GoodRX.com for 20 mg sildenafil at my local walmart and could get them for 27 cents per pill

I'm new here too (joined today!). For several weeks post-surgery I experienced night-time erections and was encouraged by that. By two months post-op however, they became less frequent and now are rare. I think the nerves take time to react to the trauma of being peeled from the gland. Not trying to discourage, mind you, and it sounds like you have an excellent outcome so far. As to the pump, my doc discouraged that procedure since it draws in venous blood, which is not well oxygenated. It's best to exercise with oxygenated blood. I was on daily Cialis for a few months, then the Dr recommended Bi-mix injections. After an adjustment period finding the right dose, it is very effective and I've been using that for 4+ years. I had ED problems for a few years before diagnosis, and ED was to be expected post-op.

First case I know erections are recovered after surgery and they disappear later. I have had frequent erection dreams but I always has been disspointed to discover they were just dreams just after woke up. I remember that, before surgery, an erection dream usually meant the "nuisance" of a real erection in bed. Anyway, I keep dreaming on erections, when sleeping and also when I am awake.
Every one is different, maybe I am the only one here who claims a slightly longer flat pennis after surgery though I am not able to enjoy it as it deserves up to present.

For me sleeping erections were frequent for a few weeks after cath removal. After that they became infrequent. I still get them occasionally--strong ones sometimes, but they disappear a minute or so after waking. Erections from sexual stimulation remain inadequate four years out. In the meantime, I use Bimix injections, and they work great--2 to 3 hours. I read John's Hopkins literature a few years ago that explained that there's a different physiological process at work which causes sleeping erections that is not present with emotional or physical stimulation.

I took your advice and went to GoodRx and got 50 20g sildenfil for 21 bucks. Pharmacist said 150.00 but when shown coupon from GoodRx, it went way down. Best discount I received in a long time !! Thank you !!

GoodRx & Costco - 60 @ 20g for $22.23. I think you need a prescription also.
