Self-publishing is the way to go. There may be some self-published authors on the forum who have some guidance from their experience.

It is the way to go for this book. I've talked to a number of folks who've done the self-publishing thing and poetry seems like a perfect fit for that.

Really great poem, thanks!. I was just thinking about my old High School yearbooks that have either been misplaced or even thrown away. I don't even know why I had kept them all these years, but I know I looked at them from time to time, looking back with some regrets, ("Regrets ,..I've had a few, but then again, too few to mention") ...It's nice to know I have grown into a entirely different, and I hope, a better person.

Remember seeing that commercial of the dude getting a tatoo of "REGRETS" on his arm? The tattoo artist got distracted eating her Snickers bar and tatted "REGERTS" !

Andrew, I just had a thought. Tall Allen is a published author and if you email him you might be able to get some advice about how to proceed.

Just wanted to follow up. I have my self-published poetry book in progress. Right now I'm waiting for the galley proofs to be sent back to me for approval.

If everything goes right, I hope to have real printed copies of the book in my hand by the end of February.

Scary stuff - I've never done anything like this before.

this actually is a stranger thread than the no subject one...for various reasons..few of which can be pinned on ITS...a lot of 20th century thinkers...struggling to grasp a century close to 20 years in.....' youth a wonderful thing...so glad to waste it on our youth'...no apologies to G.B.Shaw...he was an apologist for nihilism and wouldn't know what to do with it anyway...him and Nieztche….consumed them selves[ along with Christopher Hutchens ...btw....yes Chris i'll put you right up there with the great non-thinkers...trapped in a self made box named Shrodinger} and they never did get any stronger... wiser or opened.and according to them...ironically...never will...IMO...ahh...the coffee...the rising surf north shore...a wonderful wife...what...me worry?? PS "follow your bliss"...in the shop...the shop still is open...right!!!

You have great insight into our PC and what it brings.
I read the poem and for each line I could say yes - I have my own individual examples.
Really enjoy your timely post always the right words.
