Can a steriod shot raise your PSA?

Had a steroid shot for my lower back in June 2018. A few weeks later I had my PSA taken and it was 1.6.

Here’s been my PSA test results

March 2016 - 1.4
June 2016 - 1.3
June 2017- 1.0
June 2018 - 1.6

Is it possible it raised my PSA? After I got the steriod shot my back pain ceased and my urine flow and output was AMAZING! Sadly about 4 months later, everything turned back to my normal. Normal being frequent urination and weak streams. This has been going on for 3 years now..( I was in a bad biking accident, that was the reason for the shot in the first place)

I saw that as well... I’m pretty sure that wasn’t the drug that was given. I’m probably being paranoid like usual. I’ve had frequent urination for 3 years now. I’ve had multiple PSA’s and that one had been the highest. My initial PSA was 1.4 in March 2016 then 2 years later it was 1.6. Guess that’s not much of an increase given the amount of time in between.

Steroid decrease pf PSA would be nice....I take Prednisone quite often for my lungs.....
