Congrats Halbert and here's to a long healthy life of many years to come. Thanks for all your enlightening contributions and advice on this board. It has been invaluable in my short time here.

Congrats on the 4 year anniversary. That is a great journey so far. Thanks for the thoughts. You are one of the stalwart posters here. Love what you said about the brotherhood here on the forum. I too would like to amke a round the country tour and meet some of ya'll! Plan on retirement soon, and already got a 5th wheel. Love your keep the faith phrase also, I often borrow that one in some of my salutations. It fits. Love you brother. Here's to many, many more years on this journey!

So I stopped in at Labcorp this morning for blood draw: ultra PSA and metabolic panel. It really does get easier-a little. So I'll be anxious until my results show up on the labcorp website. Visit with uro next Friday.

It does, particularly for us favorable-risk guys who probably never needed treatment anyhow...but even though it is a smaller subset of men, we cannot ever forget that for no single reason greater than pure "bad luck" there are guys dealing with cases with very good reason for it NOT to get easier. Glad it's gotten easier for you (as it is for me, after 10-years), but never forget...

I remember when my dad was first diagnosed reading about prostate cancer being 'one of the better cancers'. Obviously not to downgrade how rubbish this all is, but having time due to the general slow growth of this disease has got to be a positive....

Jack, you just can't help yourself. Let's agree to disagree about whether I needed to be treated or not. For me--and for my doctors (even the current one who had nothing to do with my case at the time of treatment), the post-op pathology indicates that I did need it.
