This time, as part of combination therapy in newly diagnosed men

“ Patients with metastasis-directed radiotherapy had a much higher probability of achieving a PSA level of <0.02  ng/mL than those who did not undergo the therapy (88.8% vs 54.5%, respectively) and, consequently, had better castration-resistant prostate cancer–free survival than those who did not have the radiotherapy.”

I’m hopeful for continued development and refinement of procedures and medications that can add good years to the lives of guys beyond curative treatment.

Mattam new stuff coming almost weekly, it seems. It will be so interesting to see where we are in treatment modalities, in 10 years.

I plan to be here for 10 years to witness those improvements for managing PCa as a chronic condition.🙂

I was treated over ten years ago. If the advances in the next ten years are as good as the advances in the last ten years newbies will have unbelievable choices for diagnosis and treatment. I had PSA and biopsy ..... no scanning. My insurance gave me the option of surgery or brachytherapy. ... no external beam. Now the new techniques are pretty much standard. The advances have been, and will be, fantastic!!!!!
