Radiation treatment doses

I am looking for some guidance and understanding regarding my husband's current radiation therapy. I have done some reading and have noted that most men receive doses of 60-70Gy during ART/SRT. My husband is into his 3rd week of radiation therapy and the technician today told him he is receiving 180 microGy - which seems to be an extremely small dose (in my limited, non-radiation oncology background). As you can see from the signature below he's a G9. He wasn't able to speak with the doc today and he is planning to ask for some clarification regarding his dosage. The articles I have found do not mention microdosing except in some very targeted therapies which wouldn't seem to fit his situation. We are hoping for a chance at cure and I don't think we are on the right path. The center he is going to was recommended by the RO at OSU since it is close to our home. Any information will be appreciated - having a bit of a stress moment here.

Talk with the RO, not the tech, about the protocol for your husband. Write down what he tells you, or better yet, ask him to write it down for you. Micrograms doesn't make sense for the fractions your husband is getting. If he's getting standard SRT, it's likely either in 1.8 Gy or 2.0 Gy fractions (dose per session). E.g., 1.8 Gy in 40 fractions = 72 Gy, a fairly common protocol. I searched Google for "micrograys" or "μGy" + "prostate cancer" and got nothing.
