Been running for 53 years, 50 miles/80 kilometers a week these days. I am no longer very fast, however.
Our ancestors advised us not to take onto our bodies such that would make us weak or stupid, so I follow that advice. As a Taekwondo practitioner, I don't so anything that would mess up my balance, speed, power or accuracy. That means a healthy diet, lots of exercise, sufficient rest and daily mindfulness meditation.
Not a prude, though, just a tad off-the-wall. Also very much in love with my lovely lady Labrador Retriever who is my running partner and playmate.
Jokers wild.
EDIT: completely off topic, but my dear son who is about to be married (June 1) is 28.
50 miles a week is fantastic. I do 30 a week, just over 4 miles a day, every day. You must be quite tall. I am only 5 foot 7", so for every step that you take, I have to take 3 to catch up with you
What colour is your lady Labrador ? I bet she is fitter than you are ?
Congratulation, and a very happy marriage and wedding day to your son. I wish I was 28 again
