Got mine 6/28/19 home next day go back 8/8/19 to activate.Sore at the top by bladder bottom not to bad.

Ubetternoit, I had mine installed 10 ago. Surgery was at 7:30am and I was home before noon. First 2 days felt pretty good but then the soreness started to make itself known. Not unbearable but annoying. Also, by day 3 I started showing bruising from above the pubic bone the all the way down past the end of the perineal incision. First it was purple and then it was black. It's about halfway gone now.

I major annoyance is that since they did a complete shave I no longer have hair to provide protection from the pad I still wear. Chafing is an issue although I am using a lotion that helps.

Take it easy and let nature takes it's course. I just relishing all the yard chores I am avoiding.

One guy said his doctor said don't drive I drove home from the hospital from Nashville to Mississippi kind of sore in the bottom scrotum don't drive much now because of that fact how are you doing when do you activate yours

Ubetternoit, I had my 2-week post-op visit this morning. All is well. She told me I am still on light duty, no lifting or running, but I am cleared to get back in the pool. I'll grab some laps at noon today.

She said that the pump placement is ideal so the pulling down on it it helped. She said that it takes about two weeks fo it to lock in place.

I still have tenderness and am sitting on a donut cushion but feel pretty good overall. I am very active and itching to get back into my routines. It still hurts to bend over to pick something up off the floor but I keep doing so to prevent too many adhesions from forming down there.

She will activate the pump two weeks from now.

As for the pump size, I received a packet with a bunch of stuff from Boston Scientific. There were things that looked like warranty cards, id cards, and a ring with cards showing instructions for use. Also on the ring was a pump replica made out of some kind of soft material. I use it for show and tell.

Vince thanks for the info yes I have the same ID cards information packet in the little replica I go back 6 weeks since my doctor it's 4 hours away I guess he will activate then I am still leaking until activation how are you swimming and pads I'm instructed not to get in the water I don't understand the pump placement and the pulling down on it and locking in place mine is all on the right side of my testicles and it moves feeling like swollen soft tissue around it it won't pull down was just in there.

I just saw a recent article that reported there’s about 50 gallons of pee in public pools. One reason I don’t use them.

If one lives near the ocean it's a pretty sure bet that the sewage effluent is dumped there.
