AJ - No ADT, RO said that it was not proved to benefit those with very low PSA, ART, and no spread observed in pathology. He said I could do it if I wanted but he saw no need based on recent studies. ART is already a leap of faith since by definition as one does not have a significant PSA nor any symptoms. I thought ART had enough "over-treatment" potential and would rather deal with the side effects one procedure at a time. I was finally recovered from RALP and it was time to spin the SE wheel again with a new treatment to go for the "cure". So far, so good and doing well.
Other - Developed a rash in the first two weeks which is pretty rare I found out but ended up not being much of a problem once my skin got used to it while using recommended creams ( I sunburn quickly as well). Got pretty tired near the end, I was doing a workout one day and just ran out of gas with extreme fatigue and cut it short. Went home and slept for over an hour which is unusual for me in the middle of a day. Did not not get that fatigues again but was tired in general for the last two weeks and a couple of weeks after treatments ended.
Note: If they tell you that your bowel is not clear enough one day, they asked me if I could go to the bathroom to which I said probably but said I cannot poop without peeing which is a dilemma. They asked I had used a clamp and then handed me one. Took a few minutes but figured the system out, got my business done, and was able to get recycled after the next patient. The techs have seen all types and have answers for most problems if you just ask.
