In jan 2018 my psa was 1.294 and it has been steadily rising and now in 2019 quite quickly to 3.6 taken at MD Anderson. a Pet scan has revealed a lesion on my frontal lobe. this is not good. I have overall weakness, slight headache and blurred vision. I know surgery for this sort of thing is limited but there might be radiation to delay onset.
my Oncologist is out of town and back on Monday oct 7th. Hopefully he will have something positive? I have survived a gleason 9 since jan 2013.

Hoping your MO and RO can make a plan to slow things down. You should have both of these specialists on your team.
Good luck!

Best wishes from me as well. Proton beam therapy may be a possibility and something to ask about

Can this (frontal lobe) lesion be biopsied?
In other words, could it be due to something other than metastasized prostate cancer?
Best swishes, obviously!

Berdoo, spread of prostate cancer to the brain is pretty rare. This may be something else and may be curable with surgery with or without radiation so don't despair and certainly don't panic. There are benign brain tumors. Depending on your whole situation your doctor may well decide to biopsy this brain lesion.
