Richard, sorry to hear you are having these issues, similar to mine.
To answer your lead question, the side effects I’ve had are hot flashes, weight gain ALL around the middle, elevated lipid profile, loss of some body hair and I think some loss of muscle. I don’t notice much fatigue during the day, but do find myself falling asleep earlier in the evening,
Right now, the most troubling to me is the weight gain and related elevated lipids (specifically triglycerides ) I had a fairly flat stomach prior to treatment beginning, and the basketball stomach really bothers me. But I won’t give up working on it. The hot flashes continue, but over the last week seem to have markedly decreased in frequency and intensity. But that’s happened before, then reverted, so I’m not excited yet, I’ll retest my T this coming week.
Re the Clomid... I may have mentioned, my RO is working on a trial using clomid to naturally (not supplements) increase men’s T levels after ADT. Personally, I’d rather leave that to others for now, I understand that PSA would be followed closely, but if it goes up, then cancer is on the move (at least for me, having had surgery). So if the side effects are only annoying and not destroying my QOL, I don’t want to mess with it. But that’s me.
As far as fatigue, I think we all need to remember that we “ain’t no spring chickens no more”, and while HT May sap our energy to some extent, it’s also just plain old getting older. Hate to admit that, but it is what it is. Fight it with exercise and active lifestyle.
Good luck, keep us posted and I’ll do the same.
